2000 London-based International Marketing Reports (IMR) is established to publish Driving Business Through Sport, a report written by company founder Simon Rines. The report is widely acclaimed as the best European report ever produced on the subject of sports sponsorship. 2002 IMR produces a series of reports in the field of digital media. The reports sell in more than 40 countries world-wide to blue chip companies. 2003 IMR starts to supply consulting services in sports marketing and digital media. It helps Northampton Town FC, a UK-based football club, to increase commercial revenue by 600% within a year. 2004 IMR takes over the publishing of the International Journal of Sports Marketing & Sponsorship. The Journal is redesigned in July 2004 and all back issues are archived on the IMR website. The company launches Football Sponsorship & Commerce, the most in-depth analysis ever produced of commercial opportunities in football. 2005 IMR appoints Dr Simon Chadwick as editor of the International Journal of Sports Marketing & Sponsorship. The company expands its consultancy operations and represents the ice hockey club Morzine-Avoriaz based in the French alpine ski resort. IMR undertakes bespoke research projects for a wide variety of international clients. |
